Company Pension Scheme

Clipper Contracting Group has a legal requirement to automatically enroll its eligible workers into a workplace pension scheme. You are eligible if you:


  • Earn more than £10,000 a year (£192 per day period)
  • Are aged 22 or over and
  • Are under State Pension Age
  • Are working in the UK


Clipper Contracting has elected to defer automatic enrolment for the first three months of your employment.


**Can I opt in earlier than the deferral date? **


You can opt in before this date should you wish by emailing hr@clippercontracting.co.uk or in writing to The Payroll Department, Clipper Contracting Group LTD, 1 Widcombe Street, Poundbury DT1 3BS confirming that you wish to join the workplace pension scheme early.


**Can I opt out of the scheme? **


You must be enrolled into the scheme before you can opt out. Once you have been enrolled you will receive a Welcome Email from Jarvis Pensions that details how you can opt out. You can do this by emailing support@pensionjar.com or using the Jarvis web-chat here.

Once you have been enrolled into the scheme, you have one calendar month during which you can opt-out and get a full refund of any contributions made. Should you opt-out after the first calendar months, the refund will only apply to the previous four weeks.


When opted-in, your pension contributions will be as follows:


  • Employee contribution 5%
  • Employer contribution 3%
