Company Pension Scheme
Clipper Contracting Group has a legal requirement to automatically enroll its eligible workers into a workplace pension scheme. You are eligible if you:
Earn more than £10,000 a year (£192 per day period)
Are aged 22 or over and
Are under State Pension Age
Are working in the UK
Clipper Contracting has elected to defer automatic enrolment for the first three months of your employment.
Can I opt in earlier than the deferral date?
You can opt in before this date should you wish by emailing hr@clippercontracting.co.uk or in writing to The Payroll Department, Clipper Contracting Group LTD, 1 Widcombe Street, Poundbury DT1 3BS confirming that you wish to join the workplace pension scheme early.
Can I opt out of the scheme?
You must be enrolled into the scheme before you can opt out. Once you have been enrolled you will receive a Welcome Pack from Nest Pensions that details how you can opt out. You can do this by going to www.nestpensions.org.uk/member-hub or calling Nest Pensions on 0300 020 0090.

Once you have been enrolled into the scheme, you have one calendar month during which you can opt-out and get a full refund of any contributions made. Should you opt-out after the first calendar months, the refund will only apply to the previous four weeks.
When opted-in, your pension contributions will be as follows:
Employee contribution 5%
Employer contribution 3%
