Clipper PAYE
Clipper PAYE provides an alternative that allows the worker to have one employer but work multiple assignments, typically through a number of recruitment agencies. We take care of all PAYE tax and National Insurance contributions, ensuring all liabilities are paid to HMRC and reducing the administration burden on workers.
As the employer, Clipper Contracting takes on the employment liabilities such as Statutory Sick Pay, Maternity and Paternity Pay instead of the recruitment agency.
We will receive an all-inclusive contract sum (sometimes referred to as the umbrella rate) and will pay our employment costs from this which typically include Employer’s NI, apprenticeship levy, our margin, holiday pay and employers pension contribution. What is left is your taxable pay from which we will calculate the correct tax and NI for you.
